{"id":63,"date":"2017-02-16T17:41:59","date_gmt":"2017-02-16T17:41:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eximiocontabil.com\/site\/?p=63"},"modified":"2025-09-12T15:41:01","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T15:41:01","slug":"employees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/accountingexpert.com.br\/index.php\/2017\/02\/16\/employees\/","title":{"rendered":"PROCEDURES TO HIRE AN EMPLOYEE IN BRAZIL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\" tabindex=\"-1\"><span title=\"ADMISS\u00c3O DO EMPREGADO \">ADMISSION OF EMPLOYEE<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Na admiss\u00e3o de empregado, o empregador precisa ater-se \u00e0 diversas rotinas, para contrata\u00e7\u00e3o e registro do v\u00ednculo empregat\u00edcio, dentre os quais, especificamente: \">At the admission of employees, the employer must adhere to the various routines, for hiring and recording the employment relationship, among which, specifically:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"CARTEIRA DE TRABALHO E PREVID\u00caNCIA SOCIAL (CTPS) \">WORK AND SOCIAL SECURITY PORTFOLIO (CTPS)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"A Carteira de Trabalho e Previd\u00eancia Social ser\u00e1 obrigatoriamente apresentada, contra recibo, pelo trabalhador ao empregador que o admitir, o qual ter\u00e1 o prazo de 48 (quarenta e oito) horas para nela anotar, especificamente: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">The Work and Social Security Card shall be presented, against receipt, by the worker to the employer who admits it, who shall have 48 (forty-eight) hours in which to enter it, specifically:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Identifica\u00e7\u00e3o do empregador; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">Identification of the employer;<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"A data de admiss\u00e3o; \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">The date of admission;<br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"A remunera\u00e7\u00e3o e as condi\u00e7\u00f5es especiais, se houver. \">Remuneration and special conditions, if any.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"LIVRO OU FICHA DE EMPREGADO \">BOOK OF EMPLOYEE SHEET \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"EXAME M\u00c9DICO \">MEDICAL EXAM<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"O exame m\u00e9dico na admiss\u00e3o \u00e9 requisito imprescind\u00edvel e deve ser feito por conta do empregador, uma vez que atrav\u00e9s dele se verifica a capacidade f\u00edsica ou mental do empregado, conforme disp\u00f5e o art.\">The medical examination at admission is an essential requirement and must be done on behalf of the employer, since through it the physical or mental capacity of the employee is verified, as provided in art. <\/span><span title=\"168, I, da CLT. \">168, I, of the CLT.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"CONTRIBUI\u00c7\u00c3O SINDICAL \">TRADE UNION CONTRIBUTION<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"No ato da admiss\u00e3o de qualquer empregado, dele exigir\u00e1 o empregador a apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o da prova de quita\u00e7\u00e3o da contribui\u00e7\u00e3o sindical.\">At the time of the admission of any employee, it shall require the employer to present proof of discharge of the union contribution. <\/span><span title=\"Caso o empregado n\u00e3o comprove, seja atrav\u00e9s da anota\u00e7\u00e3o na CTPS, seja atrav\u00e9s de guia de recolhimento ou de declara\u00e7\u00e3o do pr\u00f3prio sindicato, o empregador dever\u00e1 efetuar o desconto. \">If the employee does not prove, either through the note in the CTPS, or through a collection guide or a statement from the union itself, the employer must make the discount.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"VALE TRANSPORTE \">TRANSPORTATION VOUCHERS<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"O empregado para passar a receber o Vale-Transporte dever\u00e1 informar ao empregador, por escrito: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\">The employee to receive the Transportation Ticket must inform the employer, in writing:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Seu endere\u00e7o residencial;
